门：gate和door

　　这两个名词都有“门”的意思。


　　gate: 指校园、公园、工厂、城市或庭院等的大门，通常有墙无顶。

　　door: 指建筑物的大门或房间的门，一般有墙有顶，也指车辆等的门。

　　He opened the gate and started walking up to the house.

　　他打开大门，迈步朝房子走去。

　　I knocked at the front door, but there was no answer.

　　我敲了敲前门，没有人应。
