行李：baggage和luggage

这两个名词均含有“行李”之意

 


baggage : 不可数名词，在英语指大而重的行李，在美国泛指一切行李。

luggage : 多用于英语，指旅行者的行李。

luggage比较口语化，通常在英式英语中用得较多，baggage 比较专业一点。

 

Passengers checked their baggage before boarding the plane.
旅客上飞机前托运了行李。

 They had left the luggage at the station.
他们将行李留在车站。
