SEALED WITH A KISS（以吻封缄）是Peter Udell 和 Gary Geld的一首作品。首次面世是在1960年。但是当时并没有大红大紫直到1962喜欢翻唱Udell和Geld作品的Brian Hyland的版本被发行。Brian Hyland的版本当年6月6日出炉，轰动一时。在美国公告牌百强单曲榜的和英国单曲排行榜上都位居第三。稍后我们还会听到比利时歌唱家Dana Winner的版本。

Paul Frederic Simon，1941年10月13日出生于美国新泽西州纽华克市，他首次与其伙伴Art Garfunkel以一种二人组合”Tom And Jerry”的形式进入音乐届。1957年，他们以一首颇有影响力的摇滚乐《Hey, Schoolgirl》冲击了美国金曲排行榜。1964年，他移居欧洲后，开始在巴黎和英国伦敦各种民间俱尔部中演出。返回纽约后，他与CBS的唱片公司签约，制作人为Tom Wilson，并且重新与他的老搭档Garfunkel合作。他们在1964年录制的专辑《Wednesday Morning》，其中包括歌曲《The Sound Of Silence》的销量不是很好，使得Simon返回伦敦。后来，在美国他与Garfunkel的事业得到了其制作人的支持，将他们的作品《The Sound Of Silence》重新进行电子处理，制作出了一部民间摇滚金曲，并使销量剧增到美国市场最高点。在1965年到1970年期间，Simon和Garfunkel成为美国流行乐坛历史上最成功的唱片二人组。他们的伙伴关系由于对音乐理解的不同，最终还是结束了。

西城男孩，Westlife是在1998年成立的爱尔兰男子歌唱团体。 Westlife由Kian，Shane，Mark，Nicky和Bryan（2004年离队）组成，Westlife出道后在爱尔兰和英国走红，在非洲与亚洲也很受欢迎。1999年至2005年间，Westlife有13张单曲唱片在英国高据首位，其销量排名英国音乐史第34位。西城男孩也是英国流行音乐史上唯一支头七支单曲空降榜首的乐队。西城男孩在世界范围内售出四千万张专辑，其中包括七张超白金专辑。2011年10月20日，成立14年的爱尔兰流行组合西城男孩在官网发布了解散声明。
「Seasons in the Sun」绝对不是一首愉快的曲子，甚至还十分的伤感。它是一位法国歌手Jacques Brel的作品，原名叫做「Le Moribond」（将死的人），发表于1961年。歌曲的内容大致描述一个罹患癌症、不久于人世的男子，在面临死亡的时候，对父亲、妻子以及挚友的依依难舍。
